We are a team of professionals with over 50 years of collective experiences in the fields of Education, System Rationalization, Information & Communications Technologies, Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, Global Health Process – Life Sciences, Business Forensic Intervention, Youth Development & Motivation, and Resource Realignment with Goals and Objectives.
Members of our Founding Team worked in three continents and collaborated with organizations and individuals from various countries. They also worked in the Equity Capital and Venture Capital fields through which they made significant contributions in the development of a number of businesses in various fields.
They bring all these experiences to the support the identification of systemic problems and to the development and implementation of smart and sustainable solutions to difficult social problems.
Our Team is focusing on developing and introducing disruptive solutions to systemic social, education and economic problems. The disruptive solutions to the systemic problems that we identify are developed through various layers of interaction with stakeholders. The interaction at the stakeholder layer is achieved through brainstorming, field research and focus groups and at the scientific level is done through literature and scientific research reviews. Our purpose is to systematically and systemically interfere in the social fabric to allow, encourage and facilitate a better quality of life for as many people as possible.
We believe that Quality of Life improves when the process of Social Innovation is leveraged to attain Social Justice, to solve Systemic Problems and develop solutions that may provide opportunities for individuals and organizations.
In April 2020, we kicked-off with the Erasmus+ funded project Youth Volunteer Educators e-learning Program (e-VELP). We are a consortium of 5 European partners made by TeachSurfing (Germany, coordinator), Vilnius University (Lithuania), CSI Centre for Social Innovation Ltd (Cyprus), Asociatia GEYC (Romania), and CESIE (Italy).
The project’s idea originated from considerable percentage of young people with migrant/refugee background who are highly motivated but lack the required skills to access the labour market and fully participate in social life. Its aim is to create and expand an active community of passionate youth Volunteer Educators (VEs), Volunteer Educator Trainers (VE-Trainers), and Host Organisations by the end of 2021.
With these premises in mind, we have worked over the past year to build an online course, targeting young migrants and refugees between 20 and 30 years old. We want to give you the tools to become “Volunteer Educators” (VEs) and be trained in transforming your knowledge, skills and culture into workshops for your community!
The Volunteer Educators program consists of 3 parts:
(1) Completing 40 hours online training including online course and practical activities in English. (November 2021).
(2) Participating in 5 online group coaching, networking and training sessions in English (November 2021).
(3) Offering your own workshop for a local host organisation (December 2021-March 2022).
Call for applicants are now open! Apply by the 15th October 2021 to participate in our training courses, and learn how to offer your own workshops:
After completing the training programme, you will receive an accredited certificate by Vilnius University in Lithuania.
