Training is free of charge and will take place at the premises of the European University Cyprus. The training courses will be organized by EEO group A.E and jointly designed / delivered by AKMI, the European University Cyprus and KESEA under the supervision of IMH. The Phase A training courses will involve 300 candidates, which include 36 hours (6 hours per day) of at least 15 classes including training on:
- labour policies and law in Cyprus and the EU, working culture and rights in Cyprus
- Transferable skills e.g. working in teams, intercultural competences
- Professional development skills e.g. interview skills, CV building
After the completion of Phase A' trainings, 100 candidates will continue to Phase B' Trainings which will involve job expertise on a number of professions, indicatively: cook assistant, warehouse worker, housekeeping etc
