SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education Ltd is a pioneering organisation which initiates and implements projects of positive social change in the fields of social innovation, entrepreneurship and social inclusion. One of its success stories is the establishment of “Hub Nicosia,” a co-working centre for organisations with cultural, environmental and social aims.
SYNTHESIS is also an adult education / training provider, delivering entrepreneurial and soft skills training programmes, particularly to people at risk of social exclusion, including children, migrants and refugees, individuals with learning and emotional difficulties, youth and long-term unemployed.
SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education Ltd in collaboration with Materia is implementing a two-month training course for refugees and asylum seekers who would like to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become care assistants.
The course will focus on the basic skills of assisting older adults in their activities of daily living and their personal care and hygiene, as well as their social interactions.
The course is open to refugees and asylum seekers only and it is free of charge.
